Characteristics and strengths

Differentiation

Implementing diverse and random key layout types
The key layout of nFilter is changing all the time, which provides relatively superior security than other vendors’ solution that changes the key layout only once when the keypad is called.

Preventing input values exposure using memory search
As the input value of nFilter doesn’t reside in the memory, the value is not exposed by memory search.
Even a space character shown on the display device displays a value that is different from the actual input value. Therefore, it doesn’t cause any problems even though exposed by hacking.

Supporting horizontal viewing and writing
The default UI of nFilter Ver. 2 supports both vertical and horizontal writing.
The entire area of a smart phone, which is small due to its characteristics, can be effectively used and visibility improvements can be considered.

Solution composition (system)

1. Providing keypad input security using a built-in random number generation algorithm.

2. No separate encryption function is needed using an end-to-end encryption channel between the keyboard and server.

3. Guaranteeing forward secrecy by generating security parameters for each session.

4. Communication channel encryption using the 128 bit seed block encryption algorithm (national standard).

5. Using a secure random number generation algorithm (FIPS PUB 186-2, ANSI X9.62) based on international standards.

6. Using the nSafer encryption module that applies the KCMVP certification standard.

7. Algorithm combination optimized for mobile/wearable devices.
